Hello everyone, I am Helen Lufkin an ASA parent and I manage the Printer Cartridge Recycling Program at ASA. We have a collection box in place in the hallway outside of the administration offices on the annex side of the school (across the breezeway from the school reception office). We accept ONLY PRINTER CARTRIDGES (all types, even laser) no cell phones or electronics of any kind. The cartridges are collected and recycled at Staples Office Supply Store and the Staples Rewards Credits that we receive are spent just like cash at Staples to purchase much needed school supplies. The program is a HUGE success, last school year we were able to provide everything from white boards and shelves to Kleenex, disinfectant wipes, printer paper and more. We earned hundreds of dollars in Rewards credits and really put them to good use!

This program enlists the help of a handful of families who generously allow us to use their Staples Rewards cards to make the donations. We receive $2.00 in Rewards Credits for every cartridge donated. Please save your cartridges and tell your friends and family to save theirs too! Just drop them off at school and they will be put to very good use! And we will be doing something really great for our planet too! Thank you!
